Introduction
Shim Cheong’s Miraculous Fish Tank is an item in your inventory that works as a special bag and can hold up to 50 fish, freeing up inventory space and allowing you to fish for longer periods.
Any fish that are currently stored in the fish tank also have a longer expiry time, increasing the duration by x5.
- Normal fish have a 48h (2 days) price guarantee ⇒ extended to 240h (10 days)
- Fish caught in O’dylita have a 60h (2.5 days) price guarantee ⇒ extended to 300h (12.5 days)
- Fish caught in Mountain of Eternal Winter have a 73h (3 days) price guarantee ⇒ extended to 360h (15 days)
To view the contents of the Miraculous Fish Tank, simply right-click the item in your inventory to open up the additional storage space. You can then move fish between your inventory and the fish tank by right-clicking them.
How to obtain
Shim Cheong’s Miraculous Fish Tank can be obtained once per family by completing a questline.

How to enter the Sea Palace
The Sea Palace can be entered through a swirling portal in Land of the Morning Light.
The portal is found in water east of Nampo’s Moodle Village and south of the Solgaji Forest node. You can right-click the portal icon on your map to auto-path to the location.
If you have not yet completed the Magnus questline to unlock travel to Land of the Morning Light, you can use NPC ferry to hitch a free ride across the sea, or travel across yourself using your own ship.
Once you have arrived at the portal location, you can either swim into the swirling portal, or jump from the cliff above to dive into the portal.
After a couple of seconds, you will get a loading screen as you move into the Sea Palace.
How to exit the Sea Palace
To exit the Sea Palace again, you must go to the Mystical Map and interact with it.
The Mystical Map can be found inside the gazeebo building located on the north east side of the sea palace.
The gazeebo is on top of a rock that you can climb by going across the bridge then up the stone steps.
Inside, you can find the Mystical Map and just need to interact with it to choose whether you want to teleport to Dalbeol Village or Nampo’s Moodle Village.
Questline Walkthrough
Before entering the Sea Palace, I recommend completing the pre-requisite questline at Shim the Blind. Completing the questline first will save you from having to go in and out of the Sea Palace later on.
Shim the Blind can be found outside the Sea Palace Portal in Land of the Morning Light, and the first quest in the chain is called “[Shim Cheong] Lost Daughter”.
After speaking with Shim the Blind, interact with the Arrow on the edge of the cliff and use the chat option. You can then jump into the whirlpool below to enter the sea palace.
Once inside the Sea Palace, head forward towards the north, across the bridge, and up the steps, where you will find Durong in the middle. Speak to Durong to obtain the Sea Palace knowledge, and then go to Shim Cheong to complete the quest.
The questline is easy to follow, but if you get stuck, I recommend using the video below to help. The final quest in the pre-requisite questline will take you back to Shim the Blind to complete it and is called “[Shim Cheong] Open your Eyes”.
After entering the Sea Palace, head forward towards the north, go across the bridge, and up towards the largest/highest building.
When you reach Durong go up the first set of steps and around the left side (west) of the platform.
Around the side of the building, there are steps heading back down, and you can see the quest icon from here.
Here you can find Dorio who will give you the first 4 quests in the quest chain.
Use the chat option to speak to Dorio and complete the first objective needed to complete the quest objective.
There is also a small pond next to Dorio where you can fish to catch the green-grade fish that are required for the first 4 quests.
- The quest objective only requires you to “catch” the fish and you don’t need to hand over the fish afterward, so you can use the fish settings to only obtain higher-grade fish without any issues
Once you are finished, go back to Dorio to complete the quest
After completing the first 4 quests at Dorio, you must go to Shim Cheong to finish the final quest “Recall the Memories” and obtain the Miraculous Fish Tank.
The final quest is obtained from Shim Cheong who can also be found in the Sea Palace.
Shim Cheong can be easily spotted by going to the right side (east) when you reach NPC Durong.
It’s worth noting before you can turn this quest in, you also have to do the quest line “[Shim Cheong] Lost Daughter” given by Shim the Blind, who is close to the the warp to Sea Palace, so you should grab it before diving in. Otherwise you’ll have to teleport out and walk back to get the quest. The quest line is easy, just running around Sea Palace a bunch.
